Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. We are here to provide you with a good education, in a stimulating and challenging, open-ended learning environment. When you have obtained that education you will be rewarded with a degree of which you can be justly proud.
Our students graduate with one of three degrees: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering. Much of the information you require, as you progress through the three Professional years and perhaps on to postgraduate study, can be obtained from the University and Department web sites. It is recommended that you check these sites regularly.
Should you have a query on a particular course you should firstly approach the academic staff member responsible. Each professional year also has a coordinator with whom you should consult about more general issues. The Director of Undergraduate Studies provides advice in support of our academic regulations.
