Seminar Requirements

There are several seminars held in the department, many on a weekly basis.  The flagship is the "Departmental Seminar" usually held on Fridays at 2pm and intended for a general audience. Most of the speakers are visitors to the department all with some international reputation while others are from the department giving a generalized presentation of their research. The more specialist presentations are given to the Power or Signal Processing or Communications Groups.

We regard the seminars as an essential educational experience and all postgraduates are expected to attend the Departmental Seminars at the very least.
